Modern Synthesis is a Texas-based cosplay duo who have been cosplaying since 2015. Through passion and innovation, they combine their talents and skills to bring their cosplays to life. Their main focus is armor and prop fabrication with a specific interest in EVA foam builds. So far they have cosplayed characters like Aquaman & Mera, All Might & Todoroki, Nightwing, and many more! They have won awards for their cosplays too ; Best in Show for Hunter and Willow, Runner-Up Journeyman for The Doom Slayer, and Runner-Up Journeyman for Venomized Bakugo. They intend to continue competing in the near future with their very detailed and handcrafted cosplays. While EVA foam armor is their material of choice, they are beginning to expand into other materials such as fabrics, worbla, and 3D printing. They hope to be an inspiration to other cosplayers, continue to improve on their skills, and make more friends within the cosplay community!
